Training in Koppl

Founded in 1998, the Union Mountainbike Club Koppl offers around 120 children and young people under the age of 18 the opportunity to be active in sports on their bikes. The club has made it its mission to teach children how to handle their bikes safely in various terrain situations. The goal of this training strategy is to highlight the individual learning objectives and competencies of the children at different age levels during both summer and winter training. In doing so, we provide children (and their parents) with the opportunity to learn about the coaches, the club’s goals, and the training programs available for children and youth. We take into account both recreational sports and consciously aim to support children who are interested in performance-oriented competitions. Therefore, the learning objectives and competencies also relate to the requirements of the cross-country (XCO) and technical competitions we focus on. We aim to prepare the children for these as best as possible.
